Arizona House Bill 2072 (HB 2072) took effect on August 9, 2017. As explained by attorney Michael Parham in his article titled Selling Mobile/Manufactured Homes not Legally Affixed, this legislation allows Arizona real estate licensees to sell mobile and manufactured homes not legally affixed to the land in manufactured housing communities. To facilitate these transactions, the Manufactured Housing Communities of Arizona (MHCA) is preparing purchase contracts for use by all Arizona REALTORS®. Once MHCA has completed the preparation of those forms, they will be placed on AAR’s website under the Sample Forms tab.
New and revised forms are released as needed on February 1, June 1 and October 1.
