NAR Spire is a real estate mentorship program that offers diverse, up-and-coming talent the opportunity to work directly with a current Arizona real estate professional to learn the ins and outs of the real estate profession and shape the future of the industry.

Throughout the mentorship program, you will have access to exclusive networking events and job shadowing opportunities that will not only help you learn the fundamentals of the real estate industry but will inspire you to grow your career while helping others achieve their dreams of property ownership.

Through the NAR Spire experience, you will participate in webinars hosted by NAR where you will learn more about:

  • Residential Real Estate
  • Commercial Real Estate
  • Administrative Assistants/Transaction Coordinators
  • The Appraisal Process
  • The Home Inspection Process
  • Property Management
  • Staging
  • Marketing
  • IT
  • Mortgage Banking

Participation Requirements

The program allows mentors and mentees flexibility to choose the mode of communication that best fits their schedules. When both parties are informed about their match:

  • The Mentor-Mentee relationship will begin after they have met with the NAR Spire program coordinator who will provide instructions
  • The Mentor and Mentee will work together to discuss and develop expectations, set objectives, and complete a formal mentoring agreement
  • The Mentor and Mentee should dedicate 4-8 hours each month and attend 2 live educational sessions hosted by NAR
  • The Mentor and Mentee will agree upon a schedule to interact at least twice a month or whenever the mentee needs to talk to the mentor. The scheduled communication time should be included in the mentoring agreement.

Activities

  • NAR will provide and offer two monthly training mentoring activities for each mentor and mentee.
  • Job shadowing opportunities.
  • Discuss training and educational opportunities.
  • Network opportunities for professional development.
  • Recommend developmental activities.
  • Tips to increase communication skills.
  • Attend business-related events.
  • Receive constructive feedback from industry experts.
