Registration is now open for Phase 1A and Phase 1B prioritized. Eligible populations in Phase 1B prioritized are:

  • Adults age 75 and older
  • K-12 school staff and childcare workers
  • Law enforcement/protective services (includes sworn officers and government-employed security officers)
  • Phase 1A populations

Adults living in congregate settings and essential workers not already eligible will be eligible for vaccination in Phase 1B after the prioritized Phase 1B groups. Some examples of essential workers who may be eligible in this later phase include employees of:

  • Food- and agriculture-related occupations
  • United States Postal Service
  • Transit workers
  • Post-secondary education faculty and staff

According to Maricopa County, the list of eligible essential workers in the later Phase 1B stage has not yet been finalized. As such, we do not yet know what other essential service workers will be included, but industries being discussed are business and financial services, supply chain for critical goods, funeral services, critical trades, etc. Once the list is updated, it will be posted here.
