Description

To succeed in property management, it is essential that you understand:

  • Accounting issues: keeping accurate records for both the landlord and tenant.
  • Managing service orders, such as repairs, tracking the services for completion, and assigning invoices to the correct property.
  • Financial accountability: keeping accurate records and being able to provide itemized records for both landlords and tenants
  • The Landlord/Tenant Act itself - knowing it inside and out, understanding the rights of both landlords and tenants.
  • E&O coverage at the brokerage for property management services.

Zoom Requirements

Technical Needs/Prerequisites:

Platform:  Zoom

  • Students CANNOT share computer devices. Every student must use their own device.
  • You must be familiar with the Zoom platform tools. (polls, reactions, chat, etc.)
  • Attendance by laptop or computer only….cell phone or iPad mini is NOT permitted.
  • Sitting at a desk or table is required.
  • Driving or riding in a car is NOT permitted.
  • Your ENTIRE FACE must be visible, and we must be able to hear you at all times.

Standard activities in our classes include polls, chats, and reactions (yes (green check mark)/no (red X), and thumbs up). 100% participation in ALL activities is required to earn CE credit.
