Description

This course takes an in-depth look at Agency Law and its critical role in real estate practice. Students will explore how agency relationships are created, the fiduciary duties owed to clients and customers, and the responsibilities of both the agent and the principal. The class will also cover the complexities of dual agency, the termination of agency relationships, and key Arizona statutes and case law that shape these obligations. By the end of the session, students will be able to describe the essential elements of Agency Law, identify applicable Arizona laws and case decisions, and better navigate the duties and risks associated with agency relationships.
