Interested in Serving on an NAR Committee in 2013?

NAR’s online Committee Recommendation Database is now open and accepting recommendations. You can recommend yourself or another suitable candidate. The deadline for submissions is May 25, 2012.
Remember, committee members are NOT automatically considered for re-appointment! A member currently serving on a committee, whose term expires in 2012, MUST submit a recommendation via the Online Committee Recommendation Database if he/she would like to be considered for service in 2013.
Have you completed your expertise profile? NAR’s Expertise Profile Database was designed to provide all levels of the REALTOR® family with key information about you and your professional experience. The information is used to identify members with certain expertise to serve on committees, working groups or presidential advisory groups as well as to send surveys about association issues, products, services etc. Individuals interested in serving on NAR’s committees are encouraged to create and/or update their expertise profiles. However, they are NOT required. Please note: Completing an expertise profile is NOT the same as submitting a recommendation for yourself!
If you have questions, please contact Adrienne Kather, NAR Senior Administrator -Committee & Governance Programs, at 312-329-8434 or akather@realtors.org.

REALTOR® Rally in DC on May 17
With the challenges facing real estate and home ownership this year, NAR is hosting a REALTOR® Rally to Protect the American Dream in Upper Senate Park at the U.S. Capitol.  NAR leadership has asked us to FILL THE PARK with REALTORS® on the morning of Thursday, May 17 from 9:30am-11:00am. This rally on Capitol Hill will show our elected officials that no one cares more about revitalizing the real estate market than REALTORS®.
Please join us and stand together to be counted in this vital demonstration of support for the American Dream. You will need to register as a REALTOR® Rally participant to let us know you are coming and to get more details—even if you have already registered for Mid-Year.
