How to Get Involved

There are a variety of ways to get involved. You may want to do each of these items - or pick and choose the ones that best fit your goals.

1. OPEN HOUSE. Consider which listing(s) you wish to promote with an open house the weekend of April 10-11, 2010.
   
   
2. BALLOONS. Consumers will be encouraged to look for the blue balloons signaling homes participating in the nationwide open house. AAR is providing a large quantity of balloons to each local REALTOR^® association in the state. Contact your local association to find out where you can collect your balloons/helium. (Agents should check with city and neighborhood ordinances before using balloons.)
   
   
3. SIGN RIDERS. Local associations may choose to sell "Ask About Tax Credit" sign riders through their in-house stores. AAR will provide a list of associations who are selling the riders, when available.
   
   
4. FLYERS. Learn more about the tax credit:

5. WEBSITE GRAPHICS. Get the news out on your website Facebook fan page or email signature.

6. PRESS. AAR will be reaching out to state and local media, but you may want to work your press contacts as well. A sample, customizable press release is coming soon!
