Recently,
mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Wells Fargo have released educational
credit counseling and financial literacy products designed to help
consumers in the affordable housing market with. Fannie Mae's program,
"My Community Mortgage", is designed to help finance loans for
homebuyers with little or no down payment, or a down payment from
alternate sources like a grant, employer assisted housing, or a gift.

Wells Fargo's "Steps to Success" is designed to help borrowers achieve
financial independence and wealth by through mortgage payments on a
home. "Steps to Success" is a bilingual program that offers borrowers
two free and easy to read credit reports, access to credit education
specialists, and information about automatic banking services and credit
