Dear REALTORS®,

There has been a lot published recently about support for higher taxes in Arizona – from the new Governor, from members of both parties at the State Legislature, and from East Valley and central Phoenix groups.

As the news media attempts to provide continuous coverage of the state’s budget dilemma, the discussion is growing on how to best solve the budget deficit. More and more, these discussions are including the concept of expanding the sales tax to include services, such as real estate transaction services.

For more information, please read “The Capitol Insider” and be prepared to respond to a Call to Action in case these discussions become a legislative format.

Sincerely,
Tom Farley
