AAR continues to be successful at the legislature for many reasons, but in large part because of your financial support of RAPAC. Through RAPAC, AAR members have direct access to the legislative process. We have said it before and we will continue to say it: Your RAPAC contribution is your best investment in protecting your business!

Despite the current state of our economy, contributions to RAPAC are still coming in, although in smaller denominations than previous years. We have raised almost $335,000 in 2009—raising more than a quarter of a million dollars in a down year is quite an accomplishment! The credit goes to the united efforts of leadership, the local associations and the individual members.

This year’s RAPAC awards recognize local associations that made 100% of their 2009 RAPAC fundraising goal:

Central Arizona Board of REALTORS®
115% of goal

2009 AAR President Mike Wasmann with Central Arizona Board of REALTORS® President Annette Bashaw and Executive Officer Ellie Howard
