Breakout Session Highlight: Mini-BarCamp
AAR is bringing a taste of the RE BarCamp movement to Winter Conference. At BarCamp, no session is planned in advance, and no one is paid to speak. Instead, attendees suggest topics and volunteer to lead discussions. While social media topics like Facebook, Twitter and blogging are often popular, the sessions can tackle whatever the attendees decide to discuss. Each of the three breakout timeslots will have a room dedicated to this “unconference” format.

Additional afternoon breakouts will focus on:

  • Short Sales (Seller Side)
  • Short Sales (Buyer Side)
  • How to Compete in Today’s Market (Panel)
  • Working with Today’s Buyer
  • Financing Options for Your Buyers
  • Agent 2.0
  • Disclosures on Short Sales, Vacant Homes and Foreclosures
  • Social Media (Ethical and Legal Considerations)
  • Green: Top 10 Things You Need to Know
  • Road Warrior (Mobile Business)

The closing session will discuss top issues with foreclosures and REOs.

  • AAR Regional Caucuses
  • Meet the AAR Officer Candidates
